3T Restoration Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically, transparently and with integrity — in our own business and throughout our supply chain.

1. Introduction

3T Restoration Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in any form — whether in our own operations or anywhere in our supply chain. This statement is published in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we have taken, and continue to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

2. What is Modern Slavery?

Modern slavery is a serious crime and a grave violation of fundamental human rights. It takes several forms, all of which involve one person depriving another of their liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. Victims are often vulnerable individuals who are coerced, deceived or threatened into situations they cannot escape. It can happen to anyone, of any age, gender or nationality — and it can happen right here in the United Kingdom.

3. Our Business

3T Restoration Ltd is a specialist property restoration company based in Yeovil, Somerset, operating nationwide across England, Scotland and Wales. Our services include damp proofing, structural drying, mould remediation, ventilation installation, home buyer damp surveys, home renovations, leak detection and insurance flood restoration. We are a small, owner-managed business with a close-knit team of skilled tradespeople and surveyors. All of our operatives are directly employed or engaged as verified, self-employed contractors based in the United Kingdom. We do not operate internationally and we do not use overseas labour agencies.

4. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains are straightforward and primarily UK-based. We source materials, equipment and specialist products from established UK trade suppliers and manufacturers. We do not import goods directly from overseas. Our subcontractors and specialist trade partners are all UK-registered businesses. Because of the nature and scale of our operations, our exposure to complex, multi-tier global supply chains is minimal. Nevertheless, we take our responsibilities seriously and apply the same ethical standards to our suppliers as we do to our own business.

5. Our Policies

We maintain a number of internal policies that underpin our commitment to combating modern slavery. These include our Ethical Trading Policy, which sets out our expectations of suppliers and subcontractors; our Recruitment Policy, which ensures all workers are legally entitled to work in the UK and are engaged on fair, transparent terms; our Whistleblowing Policy, which gives all staff a safe and confidential route to raise concerns without fear of retaliation; and our Equal Opportunities Policy, which promotes dignity and respect for every person connected with our business. All policies are reviewed regularly and are made available to staff.

6. Due Diligence

We carry out due diligence on our supply chain and business relationships to identify and address any risk of modern slavery. Before engaging any new subcontractor or supplier, we verify their business registration, check that they hold appropriate insurance, and confirm that all workers they provide are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom. We do not engage with any labour provider that cannot demonstrate compliance with UK employment law. We carry out right-to-work checks on all directly engaged workers in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. We also monitor our existing supplier relationships on an ongoing basis and reserve the right to terminate any relationship where concerns cannot be resolved.

7. Risk Assessment

We have assessed the risk of modern slavery within our business and supply chains and consider it to be low, for the following reasons: all of our work is carried out in the United Kingdom; our workforce is small, directly managed and personally known to our directors; we do not use recruitment agencies or gangmasters; our supply chain is short and predominantly made up of established UK trade suppliers; and we pay all workers at or above the National Living Wage as set by the UK Government. We nonetheless remain vigilant and continue to review our risk assessment as our business grows and our supply chain evolves.

8. Training and Awareness

We believe that awareness is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against modern slavery. All members of our team are made aware of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and what it means in practice. Our directors and managers receive guidance on how to recognise the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking — including indicators such as workers who appear fearful, are not in control of their own identity documents, live in overcrowded or unsuitable accommodation, or are unable to speak freely. Any concerns can be raised confidentially with a director at any time, or reported directly to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.

9. How to Report a Concern

If you have a concern about modern slavery — whether in connection with our business, our supply chain, or anywhere else — we encourage you to speak up. You can also report concerns anonymously to the Modern Slavery Helpline (0800 0121 700), the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), or the National Crime Agency (NCA). 10. UK Legal Framework

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which requires commercial organisations supplying goods or services in the UK with an annual turnover above £36 million to publish an annual slavery and human trafficking statement. Although 3T Restoration Ltd falls below this threshold, we choose to publish this statement voluntarily because we believe transparency and ethical conduct are non-negotiable — regardless of the size of a business. We also comply with the Employment Rights Act 1996, the National Minimum Wage Act 1998, the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004, the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, and all other relevant UK employment legislation.

We treat every person connected with our company — employees, subcontractors, clients and suppliers — with fairness, dignity and respect. We will not knowingly work with any individual or organisation that engages in, facilitates or turns a blind eye to modern slavery or human trafficking. We review this statement annually and will update it to reflect any changes in our business, our supply chain or the legal landscape. Our directors are personally committed to upholding these values and to continuous improvement in this area.
