Ethical Code of Conduct
Published: 23 July 2026 · Reviewed annually · Applies to: 3T Restoration Ltd
3T Restoration Ltd is committed to conducting all business activities with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and respect. This Code of Conduct sets out the ethical principles and behavioural expectations that apply to every director, employee, subcontractor and representative acting on behalf of the company.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals who work for or on behalf of 3T Restoration Ltd, including directors, permanent and temporary employees, subcontractors, consultants, agents and any third party acting in our name. It establishes the standards of behaviour we expect in every professional interaction — whether with customers, suppliers, colleagues, regulators or the wider public. Compliance with this Code is a condition of engagement with 3T Restoration Ltd. Breaches may result in disciplinary action, termination of contract or, where conduct is unlawful, referral to the relevant authorities.
2. Integrity and Honesty
We conduct all business with honesty, transparency and fairness. We do not misrepresent our services, qualifications, pricing or the condition of a property to any customer, insurer, surveyor or third party. All quotations, reports and assessments must be accurate, evidence-based and free from exaggeration or omission. We do not engage in deceptive practices, false advertising or misleading claims. Where we identify an error or omission in our own work, we report it promptly and take corrective action without delay.
3. Respect and Dignity in the Workplace
Every person associated with 3T Restoration Ltd is entitled to be treated with dignity, courtesy and respect. We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, discrimination or victimisation of any kind — whether based on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, as protected under the Equality Act 2010. This commitment extends to our conduct on customer premises, at supplier sites and in any online or written communication. Anyone who experiences or witnesses unacceptable behaviour is encouraged to raise the matter through our internal reporting process without fear of retaliation.
4. Customer Care and Professional Standards
We place the interests and wellbeing of our customers at the centre of everything we do. All work is carried out to the highest professional standard, in compliance with relevant British Standards, building regulations and industry best practice. We communicate clearly and promptly, provide honest assessments, and never recommend unnecessary works. We respect customers' homes and properties — arriving on time, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and leaving the site in good order. Any concerns raised by a customer are taken seriously and addressed without delay.
5. Conflicts of Interest
All representatives of 3T Restoration Ltd must avoid situations where personal interests conflict — or could reasonably appear to conflict — with the interests of the company or its customers. This includes accepting gifts, hospitality or financial inducements from customers, suppliers or competitors that could influence business decisions. Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed promptly to a director. We do not allow personal relationships, financial interests or outside business activities to compromise the objectivity or integrity of our professional judgement.
6. Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
3T Restoration Ltd operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption in all its forms, in full compliance with the Bribery Act 2010. We do not offer, promise, give, request or accept any bribe, kickback or improper payment — whether in cash or in kind — to or from any person, including public officials, insurers, surveyors, estate agents or other business contacts. Facilitation payments are prohibited regardless of local custom or commercial pressure. Any suspicion of bribery or corrupt conduct must be reported immediately to a director or through our confidential reporting channel.
7. Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibility
The safety of our employees, subcontractors, customers and the public is non-negotiable. All work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, COSHH regulations and all other applicable health and safety legislation. Risk assessments and method statements are completed before commencing any works. We handle hazardous materials — including biocides, chemical treatments and damp-proofing compounds — responsibly and in accordance with manufacturer guidance and environmental regulations. We are committed to minimising waste, reducing our carbon footprint and disposing of materials lawfully.
8. Data Protection and Confidentiality
We handle all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customer information, survey findings, property details and financial records are treated as strictly confidential and are not shared with third parties without lawful basis or explicit consent. All representatives must safeguard confidential business information and must not disclose commercially sensitive data — including pricing structures, supplier terms or customer lists — to competitors or unauthorised parties, either during or after their engagement with the company.
9. Fair Competition and Procurement
We compete fairly and lawfully in the marketplace. We do not engage in price-fixing, market allocation, bid-rigging or any other anti-competitive practice prohibited under the Competition Act 1998 or the Enterprise Act 2002. We select suppliers and subcontractors on the basis of quality, value, reliability and ethical standards — not personal relationships or improper inducements. We expect our supply chain partners to uphold standards consistent with this Code, including compliance with employment law, health and safety obligations and environmental regulations.
10. Financial Integrity and Record-Keeping
All financial transactions must be accurately recorded and reported in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legal requirements. We do not engage in money laundering, tax evasion or any form of financial fraud. Expenses must be legitimate, properly authorised and supported by appropriate documentation. Company assets — including vehicles, tools, equipment and digital systems — must be used responsibly and only for authorised business purposes. Any suspected financial irregularity must be reported immediately to a director.
11. Use of Technology and Social Media
All digital systems, devices and software provided by 3T Restoration Ltd must be used responsibly and in accordance with company policy. Representatives must not use company systems to access, store or distribute unlawful, offensive or inappropriate content. When using personal social media accounts, representatives must not make statements that could damage the reputation of the company, disclose confidential information or bring the company into disrepute. Online communications — including reviews, forums and professional networks — must be accurate, respectful and consistent with the values set out in this Code.
12. Reporting Concerns and Whistleblowing
We encourage anyone who becomes aware of a potential breach of this Code — or of any unlawful, unsafe or unethical conduct — to raise their concern promptly and without fear of retaliation. Concerns may be raised directly with a director or by contacting us at [email protected]. Where a concern relates to a director, it may be reported to an independent third party or, where appropriate, to a relevant regulatory authority. 3T Restoration Ltd will not tolerate any form of victimisation against a person who raises a genuine concern in good faith. Whistleblowing protections under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 apply where applicable.
13. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
All representatives of 3T Restoration Ltd must comply with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards in every jurisdiction in which we operate. This includes, but is not limited to, employment law, health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, consumer protection law, data protection law and anti-money laundering requirements. Ignorance of the law is not an acceptable defence. Where there is uncertainty about the legality of a proposed course of action, advice must be sought from a director before proceeding.
14. Accountability and Enforcement
The directors of 3T Restoration Ltd are responsible for maintaining and enforcing this Code of Conduct. All representatives are personally accountable for their own conduct and for upholding the standards set out herein. Breaches of this Code will be investigated promptly and impartially. Depending on the severity of the breach, consequences may include a formal warning, suspension, termination of employment or contract, recovery of losses, or referral to law enforcement or regulatory authorities. This Code is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in law, regulation or business practice.
