Environmental
Environmental — Our Commitment
As a property restoration company operating across England, Scotland and Wales, we recognise that our work has a direct impact on the built and natural environment. We are committed to minimising that impact wherever possible — from the materials we use on site to the way we manage our vehicle fleet and waste. We believe that responsible environmental practice is not only the right thing to do, but also good for our business and the communities we serve.
Environmental — Carbon and Emissions
Our field-based operations require our teams to travel to properties across the UK, which means vehicle emissions form a significant part of our environmental footprint. We are committed to reducing this over time by: planning routes efficiently to minimise unnecessary mileage; maintaining our vehicles to manufacturer standards to ensure optimal fuel efficiency; considering lower-emission vehicle options as our fleet is renewed; and encouraging remote consultations and digital surveys where appropriate to reduce travel. We monitor our fuel consumption and mileage and aim to reduce our per-job carbon intensity year on year.
Environmental — Waste and Materials
Damp proofing, structural drying and property restoration work generates waste materials including packaging, used chemical containers, plasterboard, timber and other construction debris. We are committed to responsible waste management by: segregating waste on site to maximise recycling and minimise landfill; using licensed waste carriers and registered disposal facilities; selecting products and materials with lower environmental impact where technically suitable; and reducing single-use packaging in our supply chain. We work with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental compliance.
Environmental — Chemical Use and Safety
Many of our services — including DPC injection, mould remediation and damp proofing — involve the use of specialist chemical treatments. We are committed to using only products that are approved for use in the UK, applied strictly in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and relevant COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations. We select the least hazardous effective product available, ensure all operatives are trained in safe handling and application, and dispose of chemical waste through licensed contractors. We do not use any products that are banned or restricted under UK or EU environmental legislation.
Environmental — Energy and Water
Our structural drying and dehumidification services involve the use of energy-intensive equipment including refrigerant dehumidifiers, desiccant drying systems and positive input ventilation units. We are committed to using equipment that meets current energy efficiency standards, monitoring drying progress carefully to avoid unnecessary equipment run time, and advising clients on energy-efficient ventilation and moisture management solutions that reduce long-term energy consumption in their properties. In our office operations, we take steps to minimise energy and water use through sensible working practices.
Social
Social — Our People
Our people are our most important asset. We are committed to providing a safe, fair and inclusive workplace for all employees and subcontractors. This means: paying fair wages at or above the National Living Wage; providing clear employment contracts and transparent terms of engagement; offering training and development opportunities to support career progression; treating all employees with dignity and respect, free from discrimination, harassment or bullying; and maintaining open channels of communication so that concerns can be raised and addressed promptly. We take our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 seriously and do not tolerate discrimination on any protected characteristic.
Social — Health and Safety
Health and safety is a core priority for 3T Restoration Ltd. Our work involves inherent risks including working in confined spaces, handling hazardous materials, operating heavy drying equipment and working in properties that may be structurally compromised by damp or flood damage. We manage these risks through: comprehensive risk assessments and method statements for every job; provision of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); regular health and safety training for all operatives; compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant regulations; and a culture in which operatives are empowered to stop work if they believe it is unsafe. We maintain public liability insurance and employers' liability insurance at appropriate levels.
Social — Our Customers
We are committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience built on honesty, transparency and technical excellence. We provide clear, written quotations before any work begins; explain our findings and recommendations in plain language; carry out work to the highest professional standards; offer guarantees on qualifying works; and respond promptly to any concerns or complaints. We treat every customer's property with the same care and respect we would expect for our own homes. Our reviews on Google, MyJobQuote and Bark reflect our commitment to customer satisfaction, and we actively seek feedback to help us improve.
Social — Community and Supply Chain
As a UK-based business, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we operate. We prefer to source materials and services from UK suppliers wherever possible, supporting domestic businesses and reducing supply chain emissions. We are a proud member of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and support the FSB's work to champion small businesses across the UK. We do not engage with suppliers or subcontractors who we know or reasonably suspect to be involved in modern slavery, forced labour or other exploitative practices, in accordance with our Modern Slavery Statement.
Social — Vulnerable Customers
Many of our customers are dealing with stressful situations — flood damage, severe damp, structural problems — that can have a significant impact on their wellbeing and their ability to remain in their homes. We are committed to treating all customers with sensitivity and care, with particular attention to the needs of vulnerable individuals including elderly customers, those with disabilities, and those in financial difficulty. We work with insurance companies and loss adjusters to ensure that the claims process is as straightforward as possible for our customers, and we are always willing to discuss payment arrangements where appropriate.

We comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations, including the Bribery Act 2010, the Companies Act 2006, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Our Privacy Policy sets out in detail how we collect, use and protect personal data. We do not sell personal data to third parties and do not use it for purposes other than those for which it was collected.
Governance — Risk Management
We identify and manage risks across our business through regular review of our operations, financial position and external environment. Key risks we manage include: health and safety incidents on site; reputational risk from poor workmanship or customer complaints; regulatory and compliance risk; supply chain disruption; and financial risk from bad debts or unexpected costs. We maintain appropriate insurance cover, including public liability, employers' liability and professional indemnity insurance, and we review our risk management arrangements regularly.
Governance — Compliance and Legal
We comply with all legislation and regulations applicable to our business, including building regulations, environmental regulations, health and safety law, employment law and consumer protection law. We hold all required licences and registrations for our activities. Our operatives are trained to the standards required for their roles, and we maintain records of training, qualifications and certifications. We engage with industry bodies and stay informed of changes in legislation and best practice that affect our sector.
Governance — Reporting and Accountability
This ESG Report will be reviewed and updated annually. We are committed to transparency in our reporting and to making continuous progress across all three pillars of ESG.
